Dmitry Pokhilko

Co-Founder & CEO

Dmitry Pokhilko is the kind of leader who doesn’t just perform under pressure — he’s built for it. A UC Berkeley-educated economist who accelerated through his program a full year early — eager to trade the classroom for real-world impact — Dmitry brings a rare combination of analytical rigor and bold strategic vision to everything he builds. A recipient of the Russian Federation Gold Medal for Outstanding Academic Success, his drive for excellence predates his career and has followed him into every room he’s entered since. His years operating in high-pressure trading and quantitative finance, environments where hesitation is a liability and being wrong is expensive, forged a decision-making instinct that is fast, precise, and grounded in data rather than gut alone.

As Co-Founder and CEO of Veru 365, Dmitry has been the driving strategic and operational force behind the company from inception. He leads with the conviction that meaningful progress requires accepting real risk — not recklessly, but deliberately, with clear eyes and a steady hand. Adversity is part of the calculus, not a detour from it, and that resilience is what allows him to make bold calls where others hesitate. An immigrant who chose San Francisco as the place to build something that matters, he has navigated the full arc of starting over in a new country — building credibility, building networks, and building a company — learning through every setback along the way

Kentaro

Kentaro Vadney

Founding Engineer

Kentaro Vadney is the kind of engineer who builds entire systems where most teams would need a department. A UC Berkeley computer scientist and top 1% merit scholar, he has spent his career at the edge of where software is heading rather than where it has been, from co-authoring systems research on fault-tolerant consensus at Berkeley’s RISE Lab to training the language models that now write code alongside him. Before Veru 365 he cut frontend load times in half and rewrote backend services for a fivefold gain in throughput at a prior company, co-founded the engineering team at an early-stage startup, and helped benchmark the autonomous coding agents now reshaping the industry. That blend of deep fundamentals
and frontier fluency is exactly what building a financial platform
from nothing demands.

As Founding Engineer of Veru 365, Kentaro architected the product end to end: the web application, the backend and cloud
infrastructure, a suite of proprietary stock screeners, an
AI-powered financial planning agent, secure bank integrations, and multi-tenant access control. More unusual is how he builds it. Operating as a one-person engineering team, he dispatches parallel AI agents that pick up work, write code, and ship features autonomously, sustaining the output of a full engineering org while keeping the architecture coherent and the quality bar high. He treats AI not as a shortcut but as leverage, a way to move at a velocity that matches the company’s ambition. For Kentaro, the goal was never just to ship features. It was to prove what a single focused engineer can build when the tools finally catch up to the vision.
